Operam helps the RSME with BIM Training

Ex-Royal Engineers, Andrew Johnson and Paul Shillcock step up again, volunteering to help the Royal Engineers (RE) on their Building Information Modelling (BIM) Journey.

Operam have given soldiers at Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME), Chatham an opportunity they could not refuse.

Full access to Operam Academy, and a full day of formal BIM training in July.

The soldiers are not getting it easy. In syndicates of six they have been given a BIM related question to answer. Using Operam Academy to learn, they then have to present their answers to Senior Military Officers.

This is not the first time Operam have helped the Royal Engineers. Paul delivered training whilst Andrew was still serving last year as an instructor.

It was a blast from the past as the last time Paul was at the RSME was on his Class One draughtsman course in 1998.
